Terms and Conditions

1. Registration

By registering with Daley Xpress Shipping Services, each customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. Daley Xpress Shipping Services reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at anytime. Customers are encouraged to review them regularly for any changes.

Upon registration, each customer will receive access to our Florida warehouse address and a unique customer code beginning with "DXSS." This code is specific to each customer and must be included on all packages shipped to our warehouse. Failure to include this code may result in delays or misplaced packages.

Customers are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account details and passwords. Account information must not be shared with third parties. Customers are responsible for all activities conducted under their account and must report any suspicious or unauthorised activity immediately.

2. Liability

Daley Xpress Shipping Services shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or delay caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, customs inspections, or shipping disruptions.

Suppliers and shippers are responsible for ensuring that all items are properly packaged to endure the shipping process. We will not be held responsible for:

Damage, loss, or theft due to inadequate packaging

Damage or loss occurring before arrival at our Jamaican facility

Packages seized by the Jamaica Customs Agency for violations of customs regulations

Customers must ensure that all items shipped comply with the laws and guidelines set by the Jamaica Customs Agency.

3. Delivery & Pickup

All packages arriving in Jamaica will only be available for pickup in Saint James. Customers will be contacted once their package is ready for collection.

A valid government-issued ID must be presented at the time of pickup.

If someone else collects the package on the customer’s behalf, prior notice must be given, and the third-party individual must also present valid identification.

All packages must be signed for at the time of collection.

4. Payment

Accepted payment methods:

Bank Transfer

Cash on Delivery (COD)

For transactions equal to or above 10,000 JMD, payment must be made via bank transfer and must be reflected in our account before delivery.

Packages will not be delivered or released until payment is confirmed.

5. Jamaica Customs Agency Requirements

Customers are required to upload invoices for all items shipped to our Florida warehouse. This helps to ensure a smooth and timely customs clearance process.

Please note:

Items valued over 100 USD will attract customs fees, separate from the shipping or freight charges from Daley Xpress Shipping Services.

6. Restricted & Prohibited Items

Customers must not ship restricted or prohibited items to our facility.

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

Obscene content (indecent or explicit materials)

Counterfeit currency

Cult-related or supernatural publications

Firearms and ammunition, unless legally licensed and properly cleared through customs

7. Returns

Daley Xpress Shipping Services does not provide a returns service.

If an item is:

Incorrect, or

Damaged due to the supplier,

Customers are advised to follow the supplier’s return policy and contact the supplier directly.

8. Refunds

Refunds will not be issued for:

Items damaged or lost before reaching our Jamaican facility

Items damaged due to improper packaging by the supplier

9. Shipping Schedule & Delivery Timeframes

Air Freight

Shipping Frequency: 5 shipments per week

Estimated Delivery Time (Express): 24-72 hours

Sea Freight

Shipping Frequency: 1 shipment per week

Estimated Delivery Time (Standard Season): 7–10 business days

Estimated Delivery Time (Peak Season): 10–14 business days

Note: Business days exclude weekends and public holidays. Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to customs delays or unforeseen circumstances.

10. Storage Policy

Free Storage Period: 14 calendar days after the package arrives in Jamaica

Storage Fee: $500 per week after the 14-day grace period

Reminders Sent:

After 7 days

After 14 days

If a package is not collected within 30 calendar days, it may be considered abandoned. At that time, Daley Xpress Shipping Services reserves the right to dispose of or auction the item to recover any associated losses or costs.
